Waterproofing, structure and exterior masonry
Grouped by what the work actually solves rather than by what it is called. If you cannot tell which group your problem belongs in, that is the normal starting position, and it is exactly what the free on-site diagnosis is for.
Stopping groundwater and surface water before it reaches the structure, and giving whatever does reach it a controlled path somewhere harmless.
Exterior Foundation Waterproofing
Dug down to the footing, wall repaired and coated, dimple board over it, fresh perimeter drain in stone.
DetailsInterior Drain Tile Systems
A below-slab loop that catches water at the cove joint and takes it to a sealed basin. Nothing dug outdoors.
DetailsCrack Injection
Resin driven through the whole thickness of a poured wall under pressure, rather than troweled across the face.
DetailsFrench Drain Installation
Slotted pipe, clean stone, fabric, and enough fall that gravity carries the water off on its own.
DetailsSump Pump Installation & Replacement
A pump matched to the load, a lid that seals, a valve that holds, and power when the grid quits.
DetailsYard Drainage, Downspouts & Dry Wells
Surface water intercepted and rerouted: basins, buried leaders, soakaways and a grade that finally falls away.
DetailsCrawl Space Encapsulation
Ground and vents closed off, water given somewhere to go, humidity held down. The rooms above stop smelling of it.
DetailsWindow Wells & Egress Drainage
Stone, a live drain connection and a lid, so the well stops behaving like a bucket strapped to the wall.
DetailsRepairing what the water, the soil or the original builder did to the foundation itself.
Foundation Repair
Poured, block and fieldstone walls that have cracked, crumbled or lost their face.
DetailsFoundation Underpinning
Taking the footing lower or wider until it reaches ground capable of holding the house up.
DetailsBowing & Leaning Wall Stabilization
Straps, beams or anchors, chosen by how far the wall has travelled and whether it is still moving.
DetailsSettlement & Piering
Support driven down to competent ground under a corner or run that has dropped.
DetailsBlock & Stone Wall Rebuilds
Failed runs of block or stone taken out and rebuilt rather than patched over.
DetailsParging & Resurfacing
A new face on tired foundation walls, both the part you see and the part you do not.
DetailsThe masonry and roofing that should be stopping water long before it ever reaches the soil.
Chimney Repair & Rebuilds
Joints, crowns, flashing, caps, sealing, and a full rebuild when the stack is past saving.
DetailsRoof Repair
Tracking the leak to its real entry point, then flashing, valley, shingle and slate work.
DetailsStep, Stoop & Landing Repair
Treads and stoops put back solid, and the water problem that broke them dealt with too.
DetailsWalkways, Patios & Pavers
Sunken and lifted slabs taken up and relaid so they shed water outward instead of inward.
DetailsRetaining Walls
Built and rebuilt with stone and a drain behind them, which is the only reason they last.
DetailsBrick & Block Repointing
Tired joints cut back and refilled with a mix that suits the masonry it is going into.
DetailsBacked by a 30-year warranty
A waterproofing system is only worth the paper behind it. Our work carries a 30-year warranty. Ask for the terms that apply to your job and we will read them with you before you sign anything, not after.
About how we work
I do not know which of these I need. Where do I start?
You start by not choosing. Describe the symptom, when it happens and what the outside of the house looks like during a heavy rain. Picking the service is our job, and it is the part of the free visit that actually matters.
Is every service available across the whole coverage area?
Yes. Everything listed on this page is available in Fairfield County, Westchester, Rockland, Nassau, Queens and the mid-Hudson Valley towns we cover.
Can you do the waterproofing and the structural repair together?
Yes, and on most jobs you should. Injecting a crack in a wall that is still moving buys you a season. Stabilizing the wall without addressing the water that softened the soil buys you a few more. Done together they hold.
Does the 30-year warranty apply to all of it?
It runs to 30 years on completed work. Terms differ by system, so ask for the ones covering the specific scope you are considering and we will hand them over in writing.
Not sure which one you need? Good.
That is the honest answer for most callers. Tell us the symptom and we will come out and identify the cause at no charge.
